I feel like this is the moment I should talk about how Melanie is SUCH a good person, and there's no one like her, but that would honestly take hours, and most people who are reading this probably already know. But before I've found out about Mel, I really didn't know people like her existed, and I don't think I would be able to type everything here of what makes her such a good person anyway because no words can describe her 💗

I tried to hard not to cry while watching this because Melanie Martinez’s albums pulled me through the hardest school years of my life from middle school through highschool, and when K-12 came out, it was so ironic how songs reminisced to what was currently happening in my life (at least some, not all), and it’s where I made the best friendships of my life and going through school with other hard life shit on your mind and all that comes with it. So revisiting this and watching the development really hits me

Like in K-12 the movie is about how six people have powers and need to save everyone in the school. But in all songs Melanie's talking about how everyone's body is perfect how it is. Like in OJ there's one line, 'Your Body Is Imperfectly Perfect, Everyone Wants What The Other Ones Working'. As if saying everyone's body is imperfect in a perfect way and though they want someone else body, that person most likely had to work hard for it.
