as someone who is smart and gets taken advantage of for grades pretty easily, i can definitely relate to this song. people asking for "help" turns into "give me the answers" turns into cheating. there were some people in my grade who couldn't even help themselves so they asked me to help them get back on track. i left those toxic "friends" and went to people who actually want the help i can give them. this is why i love melanie's music, its so relatable :)
