Melanie is genuinely the most interesting mainstream musical artist right now. She got everything: melody, concept, multiple lyrical meanings, visuals, originality, etc. I completely understand her artistic growth. She takes her own time to mature how and what she wants to express. I know its going to take several years to get more content from her but I’ll patiently wait. So excited for the rest of the music videos from the album. I love you so much, Melanie ❤️

I agree with all of this but she’s def not mainstream. So many alternative artists are more popular than her, and the only reason she’s gaining slight popularity is bc of the trilogy tour bc people really hate PORTALS and her new look. Her songs are very rarely played on the radio + she’s not invited to any award shows. She’s an amazing artist but not mainstream

I would be careful about being toxic online, you’re not as anonymous as you think and some people take things to far. You should also just not spend so much time on an artist you think should be “banned.” Good luck, and I’d clean up your digital footprints.

She's been everything, boys girls, non binary people, intersex people, and even people who identify beyond that. Theres basically nothing that has constricted her from the diverse group of lives she's reincarnated from, like gender. And we can see that with this fae character. It's such a dramatic change from her prior life that we've seen, it's isn't even on earth. So we can't restrict our imagination to what we've simply experienced. if my theory is correct, light shower will begin with that same flower opening up with her in a different outfit. my theory: since there’s no film confirmed this time around, i believe she’ll make all the music videos connect and release them stitched together once they’ve all dropped. we’ve already seen the videos connect so far, aside from death. and i think this is because she was still planning/hoping to make a film when the music videos for death and void dropped. it would still look great together though because it makes death like an intro to the film/music video compilation

I love that she is slowly evolving the look of The Creature throughout the music videos, in DEATH and VOID she still had a mostly human body, she started out with no legs in DEATH, then in VOID she had legs, then in TUNNEL VISION her skin became textured rather than smooth like previously, and in FAERIE SOIRÉE she had wings and went into the flower at the end so she will likely be even more changed when it blooms in LIGHT SHOWER 🧚🏼♀️💗 Edit: she became a snai 🐌💖
