@@perpendicularmeemees2984 well they most likely want people to be addicted because how do u think famous people got famous and are making videos off of music videos if it was not for people liking there music videos and giving them views they would not have been making millions so they do a lot in music videos to catch your eyes and it makes it easier for them so they won't have to go on tours every time they needed money and so they could make money plus people wouldn't have been going to there music concert if it was not for them making videos because they wouldn't have known them if people was not so addicted or went on social media they wouldn't have got so many views and likes and she wouldn't have made this video about telling kids they shouldn't be on social media so much or on there phones or promoting that if they didn't have the money and the fam already

I love how melanie is trying to send us the message of having phones are okay, but being addicted to them is not. Melanie went from Crybaby('s old body) to a faerie to a snail and now a spider/butterfly (judging by the thumbnail). She really HAS been the boys, the girls, and everyone in between. Edit: Just watched the video and I'd say the replies are right. She (or rather her spirit since Crybaby died) appears to be part moth and part human/fae in this video.

ok but also how big corps have planned meticulously and keep developing new ways of making us dependent on these phones. like digitalisation of everything forces you to upload your data, so you can idk like get basic stuff like a credit card and a doctors appointment, education and along with all that, it's also 24/7 entertainment. it's not just the individual's fault, it's a jumble of a bunch of stuff making it worse and worse👻 so when you look from afar, it looks simple and all bad, but when your whole life is fragmented into different apps and websites, it's very easy to disconnect from what's literally in front of you.

Guys, how come you're talking more about the song than the music video (the video itself)? The song is perfect!! But the video definitely took months to make and record, Melanie spent millions and millions FOR US (because we bothered her to release this video)! She invested a lot, for us and FOR us. And besides that, there's more: it took a LOT of work to make it and it didn't go viral as much as the previous ones. This one was CERTAINLY the most thought out, laborious and TIME-consuming to make, she and EVERYONE on her team spent TOO MUCH energy to deliver and create this video. There was a hell of a lot of editing, SUPER COOL and RADICAL to get everything right with this green screen, CGI and the details of EVERY LITTLE PIECE OF THE SETTING. For the love of God (and Melanie's too, FOR SURE), PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS, they (in general during the recording) left thousands of easter eggs, unnoticed details and spent hours, or even days working on this repeatedly, with trial and error. LET'S VALUE IT, AND MAKE KZbin DELIVER THIS WONDERFUL VIDEO, OK? "I'M BY YOUR SIDE" MELANIE, "SPIDER WEB" MV is going to be a hit!!!

Gosh Melanie once again proved her exceeding talent and creativity. There’s multiple ways to interpret this music video and I love that every single way is so accurate and relate to society this day. People are so trapped and consumed by social media, the internet and just phones in general. The music actually reminded me of fire drill. “what would happen if a nuke just hit? Would you say "bye" to your family? Would you post about it?” They were so obsessed and absorbed by the flifones that instead of trying to escape the web they were stuck in, they accepted defeat just to stay on the phones. I HAVW so many more ideas and concepts about this mv but I am literally so dead (it’s 2:32 am) When I wake up I might edit this and add my other ideas but I’ll see!
