This is by far my favorite song on the album, and I feel like it’s an unpopular opinion. A lot of my friends aren’t really fans of this song, and I don’t know why. It’s so comforting like my heart rate goes down every time I listen to it. And I feel like it matches the theme of portals very well. It may even be my favorite song of all time!

So in an interview Melanie talked about this, she says that she had this room in her old house, and she always felt some presence like a sprit in there. She went back to her old house, and found some musical tracks like a guitar- ish violen/ paion and she fell in love. She wanted to use this Wile she was reading past- life reggresion therapy, she read something like a dead family reuniting ( not the aftons-) so since the word " Soirée" Stands for party she created faerie soirée which translates to " Faerie party" Resembleing a reunion. Now, let's talk about the story line. [ this is my theroy] So after cry baby died and was reboned as rhis creature merged with Angelita they had a family reunion. But all of them were dead. ( we were never introduced to Angelica's family so this is Cry baby's) We all know who the father died. The mother must've drank too much and died, the brother might've smoked too much casuing lung cancer or asthma. So this song might indicate to that.
